Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


Job Description:

  • Utilize ERP system to determine needed parts from suppliers.
    • Utilize ERP outputs to release orders and adjust as needed.
    • Ensure all orders are confirmed by the supplier
    • Maintain proactive communication with suppliers
    • Ensure supplier delivery commitments are met
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively escalate any concerns accordingly
  • Maintain ERP system (safety stock calculations, lead times, part history) at the discretion of the SR. Buyer
  • Perform daily review of critical inventory levels
  • Work with material analyst on cycle count issues to determine root cause and corrective actions
  • Coordinate supply chain related projects with the guidance of Sr Buyer / Manager,
  • Collaborate with suppliers on expected demand
  • Support Billing resolution with suppliers
  • Compile and distribute reports at the prescribed schedule


Education and Experience:

  • High School education
  • 2+ years of Supply Chain or Materials Management experience preferred.
  • Skilled in use of planning logic (e.g. ERP, advanced planning systems), MS Office required
  • Strong Excel skills preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Collaboration skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills


Essential Functions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.
  • Daily communication with suppliers.
  • May require travel.
