We are looking for a Materials Handler to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Warehouse Supervisor and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
  • Label every product and place accordingly in stock
  • Identify and locate the parts and materials during the delivery process
  • Maintain and update account of stock and inventory
  • Completes technical documentation on all returns
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on material handling equipment
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for inventory levels and suggest orders when in short supply
  • Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products
  • Move waste from manufacturing floor and warehouse areas to required disposal locations
  • Perform and report cycle counts
  • Perform accurate Oracle transactions for all inbound/outbound materials
  • Assist in the development of warehouse procedures to create the most efficient processes
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees utilizing standard job instructions
  • Follow standard operating procedures inclusive of standard job instructions and required PPE
  • Maintain and implement general housekeeping/5S in warehouse and yard areas
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills and Experience:

  • High school or equivalency diploma required
  • Prior warehouse and manufacturing experienced preferred
  • Experience and certification in forklift operation preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Preferred experience with Oracle
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic hand tool experience
  • Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment and Lean Manufacturing systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
  • Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Salary Ranges:

$18.16 - $26.14
