We are expanding our Lyten Poland BESS manufacturing capabilities and looking for a Material Flow and Packaging Engineer who will design, develop, and optimize material flow and packaging solutions for both incoming materials and outgoing finished products. This role is essential for ensuring product protection, efficient handling, smooth warehouse operations, and cost‑effective logistics.
As Packaging Engineer you will work closely with warehouse, production, engineering, and supply chain teams to establish best‑practice processes and continuously improve material flow and packaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Design material flow and packaging solutions for components and finished BESS products.
• Create material flow and packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation for internal teams and suppliers.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to define optimal handling, storage, and material‑flow processes.
• Evaluate packaging performance, durability, and compliance with safety and transport regulations.
• Work with suppliers to source or develop packaging materials that meet quality and cost targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across packaging, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate packaging data and standards within ERP/documentation systems.
• Conduct trials, testing, and validation of new packaging concepts.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve ergonomics, and enhance sustainability.
Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in packaging engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Background in manufacturing environments (electrical, mechanical, or energy storage preferred).
• Knowledge of packaging materials, design principles, and transport requirements.
• Ability to create technical drawings (CAD experience preferred).
• Strong collaboration skills, especially with warehouse and production teams.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP familiarity is a plus.
Specific Skills
• Experience with packaging design tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD).
• Understanding of logistics, material handling, and warehouse processes.
• Knowledge of BESS components or industrial equipment packaging.
• Familiarity with sustainable packaging practices.
