To join CLEAResult as a Market Outreach Specialist. The Market Outreach Specialist is responsible for increasing awareness and adoption of targeted energy-efficient technologies through strategic market development and customer outreach. This role supports client goals related to energy savings, customer satisfaction, and outreach activity while ensuring adherence to program budgets and resource allocations. Key partners, referred to as Trade Allies, include manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and retailers of residential and commercial energy and water efficiency products such as HVAC systems, water heaters, lighting, and other electric or natural gas-saving equipment.

Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage customers and partners.
Track and report on outreach activities and progress toward goals.
Build strong relationships with business customers and integrate program offerings into their operations.
Plan and deliver events and presentations to raise program awareness.
Act as a liaison between customers and contractors to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
Recruit, train, and support contractors and Trade Allies to drive program participation and maintain a strong, active network.
Collaborate with other efficiency programs to advance projects and follow up on leads.
Conduct market research to identify key allies and opportunities.
Grow and maintain a network of registered Trade Allies.
Identify barriers to participation and share insights with the Program Manager.
Monitor performance and recommend operational improvements.
Manage outreach materials and promotional inventory.
Represent the program at community events and industry functions.
Exciting candidates will have...
3–5 years of experience in event coordination, communications, or a related role
Strong interpersonal skills; able to engage with contractors, customers, and community partners
Knowledge of San Antonio’s communities and neighborhoods preferred
Comfortable with public events, booth management, and initiating conversations
Able to balance independent fieldwork with team-based outreach efforts
Experience working with diverse populations and across cultures
Available 1–2 evenings per week and 1–2 Saturdays per month
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Local travel (30%) required, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record required.
Must pass background check and drug screening
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
