We are looking for a Manufacturing Facilities Senior Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Senior Director, Worldwide Facilities, and is based in Newark. DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

This role oversees maintaining and improving our production and warehouse facility's infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems while managing budgets, staff, and vendor contracts to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable operations. Key responsibilities include site construction projects, preventative and reactive maintenance, managing compliance with safety and environmental regulations (like OSHA and EPA), supervising maintenance teams and contractors, and collaborating with other departments to support production goals.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Improvement:
    • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize workflow and facility layout.
    • Plan and manage projects related to building upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintenance & Operations:
    • Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repairs for facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air).
    • Ensure all equipment and building systems are operating efficiently and reliably.
    • Manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure the facility adheres to safety standards, building codes, and industrial regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
    • Implement and manage safety programs, including procedures for hazardous materials and emergency preparedness.
    • Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain compliance records.
  • Budget & Vendor Management:
    • Develop and manage departmental budgets, including expenses for maintenance, supplies, and capital projects.
    • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance staff and technicians.
    • Coordinate the work of third-party contractors.
    • Record Keeping & Reporting:
      • Maintain computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) records.
      • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance and facility operations.

    Skills and Experience:

    • BS degree preferred, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • 12+ years facilities experience including people management
    • Construction management and permitting
    • Project management
    • Prior experience within manufacturing organization

    Salary Ranges:

    $135,300.00 - $194,700.00
