SOLV Energy’s Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) organization provides state-of-the-art OT solutions focused on maximizing energy yield of utility-scale renewable generation plants. This position is responsible for the leadership, execution, and delivery of the OTS EPC Services Project Portfolio.Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage and direct programs and projects within the OTS EPC Project Portfolio.
Able to perform and supervise essential Project Manager responsibilities.
Implement a common project management framework to manage scope, schedule, and budget for all projects within the assigned portfolio.
Collaborate with OTS Management Team and SCADA Project Managers to develop and drive the OTS PMO strategic direction.
Oversee the forecasting, budgeting and cost management of the assigned portfolio and provide regular updates to senior management.
Support business planning activities by providing revenue, headcount and budget forecasts based on project workload across the assigned portfolio.
Partner with leadership and internal / external stakeholders to manage the portfolio’s full life cycle.
Support a culture of continuous improvement and look for opportunities to improve processes and manage projects more efficiently.
Support talent recruiting and development. Including recruiting, training, and mentoring new Project Managers.
Maintain relationships with SOLV Energy suppliers and strategic business partners.
Develop leadership-level relationships with new and prospective clients to identify customer needs and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate and drive project prioritization within the portfolio to ensure the collection of projects meet the goals and objectives of the OTS Project Management Office (PMO) organization.
Advance the OTS PMO maturity, enhancing schedules and resource estimations, and enhancing project schedule, resource, cost, and quality management.
Generate and provide PMO reports, dashboards, project scorecards and/or other project health management capabilities for senior leadership and other stakeholders around scope, schedule, resource, quality, risks and other PMO key performance indicators.
Ensure project objectives and outcomes meet or exceed the defined project scopes and align to the OTS strategic direction and goals.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Ensure projects utilize resource availability and allocations.
Understand functionality and best practices for MS Project, Smartsheet’s and P6.
Centralize and maintain project schedules, resource assignments and project costing.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
5-7 years of project management experience preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of PV solar and or BESS industry experience required.
Minimum of 5 years project management experience required
Proven experience managing multiple projects within multidisciplinary teams required.
General knowledge of SCADA and/or OT system design, setup, commissioning and support (desired but not required)
Experience with basic renewable generation monitoring functions and designs
Customer escalation and conflict resolution skills desirable
Resource planning and mitigation management
Cost budget management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding diagrams and schematics including but not limited to, power system, networking and control, electrical, mechanical and civil layouts
Experience working with schedule software including but not limited to Oracle P6 and/or Microsoft Project
Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power BI
Experience using task management tools a plus
