ROLE OVERVIEW

The Manager, Global Production Planning is responsible for leading Fluence’s global production planning processes across the contract manufacturing network to ensure reliable execution of customer demand while balancing material availability, manufacturing capacity and business priorities.

The role is also responsible for managing Clear-to-Build (CTB) reporting, providing accurate visibility into manufacturing readiness, production risks, and recovery plans to support executive decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Global Production Planning:

• Own the global production planning processes across all manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers.
• Develop and maintain executable production plans that balance customer demand, material availability, factory capacity and operational constraints.
• Drive weekly and monthly production planning reviews and ensure alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify production risks and proactively develop mitigation and recovery plans

Clear-to-Build (CTB) Management & Executive Reporting

• Own the global CTB process and reporting cadence.
• Consolidate factory readiness, material availability, and capacity information into an accurate global CTB view
• Provide executive-level reporting highlighting production outlook, key risks, constraints and mitigation actions
• Drive improvements in CTB data quality, reporting automation and planning accuracy

Cross-functional collaboration, Planning excellence & Continuous Improvement:

• Build strong collaborative relationships across global cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners
• Standardize global planning processes, governance and operating procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen planning maturity across the manufacturing network
• Support strategic planning initiatives and operational readiness for business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field
• 8–12+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning functions
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and supplier networks
• Preferable: ASCM CPIM/CSCP certification preferred.
