Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Logistics Specialist to execute just‑in‑time logistics, manage shipping operations, and coordinate customs clearance to ensure the smooth and timely flow of materials across suppliers, manufacturing locations, and project sites. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive operational excellence, support cost‑reduction initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement across our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
Execute just‑in‑time logistics of materials and equipment across suppliers, manufacturing sites, and project locations.
Plan, execute, and monitor shipping activities to ensure on‑time delivery and adherence to financial KPIs.
Coordinate customs clearance processes across all involved parties.
Develop transport concepts for individual projects, considering requirements such as remote destinations, construction site conditions, delivery sequence, and more.
Negotiate and collaborate with experienced experts from freight forwarders.
Utilize planning and forecasting tools to streamline logistics processes and communicate with logistics service providers.
Serve as a regional subject matter expert on operational logistics best practices.
Work cross‑functionally with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and other teams to help deliver strategic outcomes.
Drive and support initiatives related to cost reduction, logistics process improvements, and broader business projects.
Execute logistics processes for dangerous goods shipments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in coordination with carriers and forwarders.
Support the development and execution of the regional warehousing strategy.
Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in project logistics.
Proven experience in dangerous goods handling and shipping.
Strong working knowledge of the EMEA logistics market.
Ability to operate effectively in environments with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
Enjoy working in an international, fast‑paced, and dynamic setting.
Hands‑on experience with Ocean Freight operations.
Fluent communication skills in English and business‑fluent German.
