The Lead Application Analyst will assist in the support, configuration, and analysis of ETAPro performance monitoring systems for power generation facilities. This entry-level role focuses on learning system workflows, ensuring accurate data capture, and supporting users with troubleshooting and report generation. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in IT systems, data analysis, or engineering concepts, with a willingness to learn ETAPro and related plant performance tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain ETAPro application performance and data integrity.
• Assist in the configuration of system parameters, data points, and performance models.
• Support end users in resolving application issues, escalating to senior analysts or vendors when needed.
• Perform routine checks on data accuracy and troubleshoot anomalies in plant performance data.
• Help prepare and distribute ETAPro reports for plant operators, engineers, and management.
• Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
• Participate in testing system updates, patches, and configuration changes before deployment.
• Collaborate with plant operations, engineering, and IT teams to ensure smooth integration of ETAPro with other systems.
• Maintain compliance with data security, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience 7+ years).
• Basic knowledge of industrial or power plant operations a plus.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools, SCADA, DCS, or PI systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn complex technical systems quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and basic scripting (preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with ETAPro and OSI PI Soft or similar performance monitoring software that uses DNP3, Modbu,s and other industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with data visualization tools or report generation.
Work Environment:
• On-site, McGregor Park, Dayton, Ohio.
• May require occasional travel to plant sites for system checks, upgrades, or training.
