Department Overview
The IT Software Development team is responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining software systems that support an organization’s internal operations or external products. Their work is foundational to enabling digital capabilities, improving efficiency, and driving innovation.
Position Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of internal software applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.
Support the integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services.
Help troubleshoot and debug software issues.
Contribute to the implementation of AI-driven features or automation tools where applicable.
Document technical specifications, user guides, and system workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
Understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
Experience with web development frameworks.
Exposure to cloud platforms
Interest or experience in AI/ML technologies and their application in software development
