Inventory Control Technician
Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)
Department: Inventory Control
Scheduled: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Location: Houston, TX & Required Travel to Magnolia TX
Position Summary
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the daily cycle counts of products,
ensuring accuracy of inventory records, and investigating warehouse discrepancies.
Candidates should have the ability to work both in a team-orientated environment as
well as independently. This role will require strong attention to detail and meticulous
accuracy. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, the ability to
competently respond to direction, communicate with leadership in various areas,
meet scheduling demands, and can satisfy the physical demands of the
position. Applicants for this position must be a role model for high standards of
professionalism and extremely safety conscious. Prior inventory experience is
preferred.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize computerized inventory systems
Ability to comprehend and understand complex material movements and
manufacturing inventory flow processes
Operation of material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
Clear and professional communication with Leads and Managers
Occasional operation of hand tools
Assist where needed as directed by the Inventory leadership team
Ability to perform basic math calculations such as add, subtract, multiply,
divide and compute rate and ratio
Yearly physical inventory support, including preparation, execution and wrap
up
To work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule
Team player with a positive communication style cross-functional
collaboration
Ability to stand for long periods of time in performance of job functions
Frequent lifting, bending and pulling. Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs.

Documenting work scope with meticulous detail
Flexibility and ability to travel between sites as required
Objective truth of inventory quantity assurance for the business
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferred
Work experience in inventory control is strongly preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior ERP experience is strongly preferred

Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team atmosphere
Familiarity with inventory management processes (exposure)
