Internship opportunity available for the Summer of 2026 with the AES Indiana Substation Engineering team. This position will provide the Intern with engineering experience as it relates to substation design and system protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with staff engineers on substation engineering analysis and design
Support system protection and substation infrastructure tasks
Assist in the design of substation facilities
Contribute to relay protection planning for AES Indiana transmission and distribution systems
Work on assigned projects that provide hands-on engineering experience
Help staff engineers with their ongoing substation projects
Qualifications: A student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering.
The Intern may be expected to complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor.
