Job Profile:

Repsol Renewables North America (RRNA) is looking for an Intern, Accounting to assist in the Accounts Payable processing and other projects as defined.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data entry, coding and workflow routing for the invoices received from vendors
  • Setting up new vendors in the accounting system
  • Work with the Senior Accountants and/or project developers for proper coding against the Company approved budget
  • Responding to vendor inquiries, researching and resolving issues related to invoices and vendor payments
  • Monitor and reviews invoices for timely approvals
  • Assisting the senior accountant with monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Assisting with any other ad hoc requests

​REQUIREMENTS:

  • Detail oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule (approximately 20 hours/week)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently pursuing an accounting degree, preferably a rising Junior or Senior
