Job Description:

This position is responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis for Fluence´s Overhead Cost, headcount and related expenses and allocations. Reports into the Director of FP&A for EMEA. The role helps drive the performance of the region through continuous insight and feedback. Your ability to understand KPIs and provide clear and concise guidance to management is key. The successful candidate will bring strong financial, analytical, and communication skills.

As the FP&A Manager Benelux & Nordics, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing financial cost insights and guidance to Business, Sales, Service and Project Leaders on key cost performance indicators, saving opportunities, labour cost and recovery and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Pro-actively supports execution of financial planning by preparing and cost, headcount and strategy meetings of relevant stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively supports cost execution by delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis on business performance, thereby supporting relevant stakeholders to make fact-based sound cost decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with business unit leaders and cost center owners to create and manage budgets for operating expenses. Regularly review financial data, track performance against budget, and provide insights on variations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A cost and headcount reporting in the regions
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential financial risks related to cost and headcount drivers for the markets.
  • Actively participate in the target setting process for business by developing and reviewing cost guidance.
  • Build an internal network with Business, Sales and Service Leaders in the regions and other Finance functions.
  • Provide guidance to financial and non-financial stakeholders on FP&A cost and headcount related matters
  • Work closely together with HR to keep track of headcount against budget targets.

Qualifications

  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience in similar position
  • Fluent Business English
  • Proficient accounting knowledge (US GAAP)
  • Financial Systems Fluency
    • Strong background with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
    • Expert MS Office skills
    • Data Analysis and Modelling
  • Great reporting, data visualization and storytelling ability
  • Prior experience in energy / infrastructure industry is an advantage

Required Education and Training

University degree with a major in accounting or business administration preferred but not required
