As a key contributor to the EU Finance organization, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient end-to-end finance operations for multiple European legal entities.

Financial Accounting & Reporting (SAP S/4HANA)

  • Execute day-to-day accounting activities with main focus on General Ledger
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
  • Manage statutory reporting and ensure full compliance with HGB requirements
  • Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for German and Dutch legal entities
  • Support external audits and internal control reviews, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to compliance standards
  • Intercompany invoicing and respective IC reconciliations

Finance Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

  • Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to enhance SAP S/4HANA processes, improve automation, and streamline workflows
  • Contribute to digital finance initiatives, focusing on process optimization, data accuracy, and system-enabled efficiencies
  • Identify gaps in financial processes and implement improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting quality

Finance Operations & Business Partnership

  • Provide day-to-day support to operational teams, ensuring financial data quality and adherence to established processes
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Logistics to support financial supply chain processes, pricing considerations, and cost-to-serve analysis
  • Assist in financial analyses, reconciliations, and ad-hoc reporting to support business decision-making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Bilanzbuchhalter is a strong plus
  • Related working experience (3+ years):
    • Relevant accounting standards (USGAAP and HGB)
    • Working in a multinational corporation
    • SAP S/4 HANA, MS Office

YOUR BACKBACK IS FILLED WITH

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, financial management, Accounting, MBA, or a related field.
  • Good understanding on finance and operation processes in a sales organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experienced with Visio or similar UML tool to document business process.
  • 3~5 years’ experience in SAP MM/FICO modules as SAP consultant or Business Analyst.
  • Experienced on the SAP MM submodules: Procurement, Vendors, Invoice verification, Inventory Management, Material movements, Material planning, Material Valuation, Warehouse management, Batch management, Serial numbers and Classification.
  • Good understanding of SAP FI submodules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, and Taxation. Familiarity with European tax processes in major European countries would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP CO submodules such as Cost Centre Accounting (CCA), Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  • Having certain knowledge on SAP SD and PLM modules is desired.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Having certain knowledge on CRM MS-D365 is preferred.
  • Industries experience in Solar, Storage, Power Electronics with B2B business is preferred.
