Position Overview:
An experienced ERP Sales & Service Team Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and support of ERP solutions that support key business processes in sales, distribution, and customer service. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to ensure end-to-end functional integration and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional knowledge, hands-on ERP configuration experience, and the ability to lead complex projects and initiatives across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and support of ERP processes related to Sales, Customer Service, Services, and related functions.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the ERP team and business units (sales, service, customer operations).
- Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements, align solutions to business goals, and manage expectations.
- Lead the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of ERP enhancements and new functionalities.
- Drive the delivery of ERP projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the ERP system in sales and service domains, including issue resolution and process monitoring.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in sales and service processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Work closely with IT, Finance, Logistics, and other teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration across ERP modules.
- Support integration with CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, and external applications where applicable.
- Support the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into operational performance.
- Support audit requests and implement controls to safeguard sensitive data and business transactions.
- Liaise with ERP vendors, consultants, and support partners to resolve system issues and deliver enhancements.
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of SAP Order-to-Cash system cycle including sales documents, pricing, delivery, billing, returns, credit, shipping and business partner
- Understanding of output, credit management, and ATP (Available to Promise)
- Knowledge of service orders, notifications, warranties, and contract management
- Understand cross-module integration (FI, MM, PP and EWM)
- Knowledge of integration with SAP APO or PP/DS
- Expertise in shipping & transportation planning, route determination
- Expertise in sales order processing, logistics execution, and service parts supply chains
- Deep understanding of aftermarket service, spare parts distribution, and reverse logistics
- Hands-on experience with SAP Global Trade Services, focusing on compliance, customs and trade processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for business and technical audiences
- Ability to mentor team members, conduct knowledge sharing sessions, and drive performance
- Strong skills in business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and blueprinting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands on experience in SAP Sales and GTS modules
- At least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role overseeing SAP projects
- Proven experience in managing full lifecycle SAP implementations (Planning to go-live and support).
- SAP certification is a must, ideally in Sales and Distribuiton.
- Prefer certified professional such as TOGAF, PMP or ITIL
