Job Description:

ERP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Techno-Functional Lead

The San Francisco Chronicle has recognized Nextracker (Nasdaq: NXT) as one of the Top Workplaces. Join our growing team!

This is a hybrid role (4 days/week onsite) at our headquarters in Fremont, California. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Techno-Functional Lead to manage the design, delivery, and support of Nextracker’s global procurement, supplier management, and accounts payable processes. This is a strategic role responsible for partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Corporate teams to implement and optimize ERP systems that enable operational efficiency, supplier collaboration, and financial compliance.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on ERP technical expertise with deep functional knowledge of P2P processes in a project-based discrete manufacturing environment (captive and outsourced). Strong ERP experience—specifically Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP—is required. As we continue our ERP transformation journey, this individual will lead the full project lifecycle, from discovery through implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement in the P2P functional area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ERP P2P Implementations: Provide technical leadership and functional guidance for Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP Procurement/Finance modules (Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing). Drive process definition, configuration, testing, rollout, and adoption.
  • Enable SaaS & Service Offerings: Partner with Finance and Operations to align P2P flows with SaaS subscription models, recurring services, and hybrid offerings that combine hardware projects with software licenses.
  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership, as well as system integrators and ERP vendors to document current-state processes, define future-state designs, and create detailed use cases for P2P.
  • Solution Architecture & Configuration: Define and configure ERP modules for requisitions, purchase orders, sourcing, supplier collaboration, AP automation, and three-way matching. Ensure compliance with corporate, tax, and statutory requirements globally. Configure, extend and support ERP P2P modules; build and troubleshoot customizations, reports, extensions and interfaces. Support reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Supplier & Spend Optimization: Lead initiatives to standardize procurement processes, improve supplier onboarding and compliance, optimize working capital, and drive spend visibility.
  • System Optimization & Rollouts: Recommend solutions for system gaps, design phased rollout strategies, and lead P2P tracks across discovery, CRPs, integration, data conversion, UAT, and deployment.
  • Integration Leadership: Work with internal development and integration teams to design, test, and deploy interfaces with upstream planning, manufacturing, and downstream financial systems, as well as third-party supplier platforms.
  • Data Migration: Develop strategies for migrating supplier master data, open POs, and AP balances into ERP, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and smooth transition.
  • Governance & Controls: Establish and enforce governance, audit, and compliance controls for procurement and AP processes. Partner with SOX and Internal Audit teams to build financial and IT controls within the new ERP.
  • Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, to identify automation opportunities in procurement, invoice processing, and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 15+ years of IT/Supply Chain/Finance systems experience with ERP expertise (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or SAP).
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with P2P modules (Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, Accounts Payable, Invoice Automation).
  • Strong functional knowledge of end-to-end P2P processes including requisitions, purchasing, supplier onboarding, AP, and payment processing.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with external procurement, supplier, and payment platforms.
  • Proven leadership in ERP transformation programs and cross-functional Procurement/Finance/IT teams.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPSM, CPM, or other procurement/supply chain certifications.
  • Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
  • Familiarity with PLM, SCM, WMS, or BI tools that integrate with ERP procurement and finance.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or ERP vendor credentials (Oracle/SAP).

Why Join Us?

  • Lead ERP transformation in procurement, supplier collaboration, and AP processes at a high-growth, mission-driven company.
  • Partner with global teams to design and scale best-in-class procurement and financial operations.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency through technology and process excellence.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and flexible work arrangements.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $180,000 to $195,000.
