Summary:
The ERP Manufacturing & Quality Team Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing support of ERP systems that support manufacturing operations and quality management processes. This role ensures that ERP solutions align with business goals, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ERP team focused on manufacturing and quality modules (e.g., SAP PP & QM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, supply chain, sales, and finance to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, testing, and deployment of manufacturing and quality processes within the ERP system.
- Drive process improvements through automation and enhanced ERP functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues related to manufacturing and quality workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards through ERP system controls.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
- Manage documentation of system processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and external consultants when necessary.
- Lead ERP upgrade and integration projects related to manufacturing and quality modules.
- Allocate resources, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of SAP system, specially manufacturing and quality modules
- Ability to configure and customize SAP manufacturing and quality processes
- Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving system issues related to manufacturing and quality workflows.
- Knowledge of production planning, shop floor control, inventory management, and quality assurance standards.
- Familiarity with different quality management setups within an organization
- Integration knowledge of SAP with other shop floor systems such as MES, PLCs etc.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem resolution and continuous improvement.
- Training and mentoring end-users on ERP functionality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related.
- 8+ years of hands on experience in SAP specially production and quality modules
- At least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role overseeing SAP projects
- Proven experience in managing full lifecycle SAP implementations (Planning to go-live and support).
- SAP certification is a must, ideally in production or quality.
- Prefer certified professional such as TOGAF, PMP or ITIL
