The Facilities Engineering Manager for AMP2 will lead the engineering functions across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Civil, and Controls disciplines. This role is responsible for planning and tracking CAPEX, governing engineering standards, supporting infrastructure projects, and ensuring facility readiness for production and expansion activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to compliance and documentation.
Develop, manage, and monitor annual CAPEX budgets for facility upgrades and expansions.
Lead MEP, Civil, and Controls engineering teams to ensure robust design, execution, and maintenance of facility systems.
Establish and enforce engineering standards for MEP and Controls across production and office zones.
Provide technical support for infrastructure projects, including design reviews, feasibility assessments, and execution oversight.
Support infrastructure development for new projects, expansions, and facility modifications.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance for all facility upgrades.
Review and update as-built drawings, asset tagging, and system documentation to maintain accurate records.
Resolve system punch lists with contractors and ensure proper registration and tracking of warranties.
Monitor and optimize utility demand including CUP, HVAC, and electrical systems for efficiency and sustainability.
Support launch-related activities by ensuring facility readiness and realignment of workshops and support zones.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of experience in facilities engineering or industrial infrastructure management.
Proven experience in managing CAPEX and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, controls, and industrial utilities.
Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and asset management systems.
Excellent project management and documentation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve technical issues and contractor punch lists.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to drive energy efficiency, utility optimization, and sustainability initiatives.
