What Does an Energy Engineer Do?
Our Energy Engineers support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by:
Providing engineering calculations and building energy simulations
Performing ASHRAE Level II audits with guidance from experienced engineers
Developing IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and reports
Creating tools and calculators for program use
Reviewing technical documents for accuracy and sound engineering practices
Prioritizing safety in all actions and tasks
You’re a Great Fit If You Have…
0–4 years of experience and a desire to learn ASHRAE Level II audits with support
BS in Engineering (MS preferred for advanced roles)
EIT/FE certification preferred
Project management experience / PMP preferred
Target compensation varies by state and program budget
