Job Description
Join our team of energy engineers dedicated to advancing energy conservation programs and projects. Our engineers help deliver impactful energy management and emissions‑reduction initiatives through engineering analysis, energy modeling, and measurement and verification (M&V).
As an Energy Engineering Co‑op, you will learn to apply engineering theory to real‑world energy conservation projects while supporting experienced engineers across a range of programs.
This co‑op term is expected to last 8 months, starting in April 2026.
What we need help with:
Support the energy savings calculations for projects by applying core engineering principles, including thermodynamics, mechanics, physics, algebra, and statistics.
Learn about energy auditing for commercial buildings and assist engineers with energy end‑use data analysis.
Assist with engineering administrative tasks, including documentation control, technical writing, project reporting, scheduling, and tracking.
Minimum requirements:
Currently pursuing a post‑secondary Engineering degree (either in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program or enrolled in a Master of Engineering program).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different jurisdictions in a hybrid (mostly remote) environment.

$17.00 - $27.50Currency

HourlyAny offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
