Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Advisor. You will support residential energy efficiency programs by guiding homeowners and contractors through the full project lifecycle—from eligibility screening to installation—ensuring compliance with program requirements. This is a fully remote position, with preference given to applicants located in California.

  • Provide individualized and ongoing assistance to property owners and contractors to convert projects according to contract compliance
  • Inform customers of available rebates and program offerings, setting clear expectations with kindness and patience
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide guidance on installation, configuration, and enhancement in accordance with client specifications
  • Record customer and contractor interactions in CRM systems to ensure program compliance and continuity
  • Own a book of business, manage follow-ups, and maintain detailed notes in the system
  • Balance competing priorities and think critically to solve problems quickly
  • Learn new programs and be cross-functionally trained across multiple initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support program delivery and customer satisfaction

Exciting candidates have…

  • Experience in customer service, sales, or technical support, especially in remote environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and account management
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in energy efficiency consulting or similar technical fields is a plus
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Comfort working with long customer journeys and maintaining engagement throughout

Target Compensation:

$24.00/hr
