Job Title: eBOS Program Manager

Location: San Jose, CA hybrid - 4 days onsite/week

Department: Program Management

Reports To: Senior Manager, Program Management

Position Summary:

The eBOS (Electrical Balance of System) Program Manager is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of customer-specific eBOS project requirements. This role ensures that internal processes are followed meticulously, from initial customer site requirement confirmation through to final delivery, billing, payment and customer satisfaction. The Program Manager serves as the primary liaison between engineering, operations/production, logistics, quality, finance and the customer, ensuring seamless communication and execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Initiation & Requirements Confirmation

  • Follow company procedures to confirm and document detailed customer requirements.
  • Conduct internal project kick-off meetings to align cross-functional teams.
  • Lead customer-facing kick-off meetings to establish timelines, deliverables, and expectations.

Engineering Coordination

  • Accommodate customer-requested changes and ensure timely communication to engineering and drive the associated commercial process to quote and book change orders.

Change Order Management

  • Initiate and process change order quotations in coordination with Sales to capture all revenue associated with evolving customer requirements.
  • Secure updated purchase orders (POs) from customers reflecting approved changes.
  • Ensure internal teams are notified of changes, all documentation is updated and distributed and the associated customer order lines are updated accordingly.

Bill of Materials (BOM) & Order Processing

  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure the finalized BOMs are completed and released .
  • Create customer order lines using the customer provided block ship sequence and block information into Infor Syteline ERP system.
  • Ensure accurate and complete data entry to drive job creation and production planning.

Logistics & Production Coordination

  • Develop detailed truckload plans aligned with customer ship sequences.
  • Communicate shipment requirements to production and shipping teams.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as necessary to meet delivery timelines.

Delivery & Invoicing Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding delivery coordination.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing by aligning with the finance and logistics teams.
  • Monitor delivery performance and proactively address any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing or engineering-driven environment, preferably in the solar or electrical sector.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems; experience with Infor Syteline is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams without direct authority.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000.
