To join our team as a Driver to support our Appliance Recycling program. In this role, you will operate a 26‑ft box truck to service multiple customer locations each day, working closely with a team to safely remove large appliances from residential homes.
The ideal candidate is physically capable, customer‑oriented, and flexible with scheduling, including occasional extended days. This position requires working in a variety of environments and weather conditions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.
Must be located in the Bondurant/Des Moines or Marion/Cedar Rapids area.
You’re a great fit if you can…
Safely operate a company‑provided box truck to pick up residential refrigerators and freezers scheduled for recycling.
Visit customer homes daily, verify appliance eligibility, and ensure program requirements are met.
Safely load, secure, and transport appliances using dollies, straps, and proper lifting techniques.
Maneuver and move appliances weighing approximately 150–250 lbs using team‑lifting methods.
Transport collected appliances to a warehouse or recycling facility.
Interact professionally with customers, providing courteous service and clear communication.
Follow safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and company policies at all times.
Contribute to environmental sustainability by ensuring appliances are responsibly removed and recycled.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Comfortable performing physical work, including heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Willingness to learn – full training provided.

Targeted Compensation Range
$24/h
This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record.
