Job Summary:
The Director of Operations is a key role on our team reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. This position will have the responsibility to lead the manufacturing processes for both the Main Line and Large Commercial Line as well as all material flow on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to foster a safe, collaborative, and team-oriented culture.
- Lead and develop a strong daily management process with production team to deliver on KPI’s and financials.

- Leading Kaizen events and driving continuous improvement and change agent initiatives.
- Lead, coach and train employees and foster an environment for an empowered, high -performance plant.
- Ability to anticipate, negotiate and manage conflicts, problems, changing situations and deadlines.
- Strong floor presence is a MUST: we seek an on-the-floor leader.
- Lead a “best in class,” customer response focused organization.
- Develop and incorporate operational safety with the involvement of floor associates.
- Lead further development of a lean and sustainable footprint with flexible operational excellence to support a 100% make to order fulfillment model.
- Facilitate strong bench strength.
- Improve facility through 5S Disciplines to exceed Customer and Brand Image Expectations.
- Lead manufacturing process and facility development strategy to support cross functional portfolio innovation and growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Ten or more years of direct operations leadership experience of lean, ultra-flexible operations in a non-union environment with customer first mentality.
- Experience structuring and leading ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 operating systems.
- Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Effective team and cross-functional communicator, to build an empowered consensus driven culture.
- Proven record of nurturing and developing team members, at all levels, in a dynamic work environment.
Education:
- BS in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required, MBA Preferred.
