Role Overview

The Director of Enterprise Transformation and Strategic Initiatives will lead the Fluence Transformation Team and serve as the central execution engine across Enterprise Operations. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Quality, Risk, Operational Excellence, and NP2M, this role is responsible for translating strategy into coordinated, cross-functional execution across the value chain to ensure initiatives are aligned, governed, and delivering measurable business impact.

This role partners across Transformation, IT, Product, Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, and Delivery to drive execution discipline, remove barriers, and accelerate outcomes tied to margin improvement, execution predictability, and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage the Fluence Transformation Team, with direct reporting responsibility
  • Establish the Transformation Team as the central execution layer for Enterprise Operations initiatives
  • Drive accountability, execution discipline, and delivery consistency across all transformation efforts
  • Lead execution of Enterprise Operations priorities, including AI-enabled operating model deployment, pricing transformation, NP2M rollout, and quality, risk, and operational excellence initiatives
  • Translate leadership priorities into structured programs, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure alignment across end-to-end value streams, including Quote-to-Contract, Design-to-Manufacture, and Order-to-Revenue
  • Maintain an integrated transformation portfolio across Enterprise Operations, IT, and business functions
  • Establish and lead governance forums, including steering committees, portfolio reviews, and executive operating cadence
  • Track progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring early issue identification and clear escalation with actionable recommendations
  • Partner with IT and business leaders to embed AI into core processes and transformation programs
  • Support identification, prioritization, and execution of high-value AI use cases aligned with Fluence systems and data architecture
  • Align and influence stakeholders across Product, Commercial, IT, Supply Chain, Quality, and Delivery
  • Remove barriers and lead structured problem-solving on critical operational issues impacting margin, quality, and delivery performance
  • Develop executive-ready materials such as transformation updates, portfolio dashboards, and decision frameworks
  • Translate complex initiatives into clear insights to support leadership decision-making
  • Partner with Change Management to ensure adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Reinforce standardization, execution discipline, and organizational alignment across Enterprise Operations

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 10–15+ years of experience in transformation leadership, strategy and operations, management consulting, or enterprise program leadership
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Experience working across technology, operations, and business functions
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems, data platforms, and technology-enabled transformation
  • Experience with operating model design, portfolio management, and execution governance
