Job Description:
Nextracker is the leading provider of intelligent solar tracking systems, offering advanced solutions that optimize the performance and reliability of utility-scale solar power plants around the world. Assist in the development and evaluation of machine learning models for image-based object detection and tracking.
Preprocess and annotate image datasets for training and validation.
Implement and fine-tune deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, YOLO, Faster R-CNN) for real-time image recognition tasks.
Collaborate on model deployment pipelines using tools such as TensorFlow Serving, ONNX, or Docker.
Analyze model performance and contribute to iterative improvements.
Document findings, experiments, and best practices.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Strong foundation in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
Familiarity with image processing techniques and computer vision concepts.
Experience with version control (Git) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
The hourly rate for this position is $45-50/hr
