As the B2B Sales Manager “SME” Netherlands, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive Lucid Motors' growth across small and medium enterprise (SME) clients in the Netherlands. Your mission is to build strong relationships with corporate clients, leasing companies, and fleet operators to secure B2B sales of Lucid’s cutting-edge electric vehicles and associated services. 
The primary focus will be on fleets ranging from 25 to 500 vehicles. 

 

The Role 

Business Development 

  • Identify and engage with SME clients, leasing partners, and fleet operators to expand Lucid Motors’ footprint in the Dutch market. 
  • Develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies to position Lucid as a preferred EV brand among SME customers. 

Sales Strategy 

  • Design and execute tailored sales strategies that address the specific needs of SME clients. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings, pricing models, and after-sales services for maximum impact. 

Relationship Management 

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client goals and aligning Lucid’s solutions to meet their business needs. 

Negotiation and Closing 

  • Lead contract negotiations with a focus on long-term value creation. 
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded. 

Market Analysis 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities. 
  • Provide regular insights and strategic recommendations to the management team. 

Customer Experience 

  • Ensure a premium customer experience throughout the entire sales journey and beyond. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer journey. 
  • Collaborate actively with the Lucid Studio in Hilversum to support local engagement and visibility. 

 

Reporting Line & Travel 

The B2B Sales Manager “SME” reports directly to the Director Corporate Sales Europe. 

Up to 50% travel may be required based on business needs. Regular presence in the Amsterdam office is expected, as the role also serves as a key ambassador for corporate sales within the Lucid EU sales team and systems. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 
  • 5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, key account management, or enterprise sales—preferably in the automotive or EV sector. 
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch automotive landscape, including leasing structures and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, ideally Salesforce. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a results-driven mindset. 
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively. 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. 
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Netherlands and occasionally abroad.
