We are seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Information Officer, to lead our organizations technology strategy and execution. This role will report to the COO and be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the companyβs IT strategy and align with business goals.
- Oversee all aspects of our technology infrastructure, and innovation roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals and scalable growth.
- Define and execute strategy to build next-generation digital solutions that will improve the deployment of energy resources.
- Delivering a common approach and process for driving work and accountability across the organization, implement and drive metrics that enable decision making ownership and organizational performance
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, modernizing infrastructure, systems and processes
- Translating business strategy into technology balancing risk and ensuring return on investment
- Leverage and incorporate emerging solutions such as Security AI, Machine learning, Big Data and Cloud computing as core components of future state customer-facing portals and internal capabilities.
- Architect and execute roadmap to better leverage public cloud platforms and develop cloud-based APIβs that enable greater management of energy resources.
- Build a scalable and robust IT infrastructure that ensures security and compliance across all technical offerings
- Build, mentor and scale high performing teams
- Work closely with Executives and departments to support the company goals and customer success.
- Manage technology budget and prioritize resources to meet strategic objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Exceptional leadership and communication
- Strong knowledge of software, network infrastructure, security, AI and help desk services
- Familiar with cybersecurity, the best practices and compliance standards
- Track record of scaling and launching new technologies
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing fast-paced work environment.

- Proven leadership skills building high performing teams

Salary Ranges:
$300,000.00 - $400,000.00
