Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

We are seeking a sharp, systems-oriented Business Analyst with PMP certification to support high-urgency, cross-functional projects in an aerospace product development environment. This role requires proficiency in project lifecycles, project management, requirements management, and stakeholder alignment across engineering, supply chain, and business systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Elicit, define, and manage business requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure traceability and alignment of project requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or redesign.
  • Support the development of project charters, WBS, schedules, risk registers and other project artifacts.
  • Facilitate decision-making through structured analysis, trade-off assessments, and clear documentation.
  • Map, assess, and help optimize business systems (e.g., ERP, PLM, MRP) to support integrated program execution.
  • Bridge gaps between technical teams and business users to align systems capabilities with operational needs.
  • Develop dashboard, trackers, and planning tools using BI Tools, Data Visualization, Google Suite, Smartsheet, and other tools to support scenario modeling, reporting, and executive reviews.
  • Project management skills demonstrated; solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication & presentation skills both written & oral; ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-starter, able to self-motivate and complete tasks with limited supervision; autonomous.

What You Need:

  • PMP certified with 5+ years in business analysis or project management.
  • Strong experience with requirements elicitation, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Proficient in project planning tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Confluence, JIRA, Google Sheets).
  • Proficiency with BI tools, data visualization, and a scripting language like Python or Matlab (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and related enterprise systems; SAP and Teamcenter experience preferred.
  • Aerospace or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Systems thinking mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and interdependencies.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $122,880 - $160,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
