Turning Digital Strategies into Practical Workflows

Are you ready to apply digital plant data management concepts using the latest technologies and tools?

As a BIM Implementation Specialist, you’ll work on transformative projects that bring digital strategies to life in nuclear power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and project delivery. You’ll configure and deploy digital tools powered by Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles, ensuring workflows are set up for real-world use. Through this work, you’ll help deliver first-of-their-kind solutions that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and collaboration across the industry.

Location: Hybrid (Travel to client site as required by project needs).

Salary Range: $100-120k (Exact compensation may vary).

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Work with clients to understand their operational needs and configure tools and workflows that support digital engineering delivery. This includes applying industry-standard BIM and digital engineering platforms such as AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk, and others.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients in a virtual environment, including mentoring, training, and creating documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multi-year project roadmaps that enable the delivery of digital engineering programs using commercial Plant Design Management Systems (PDMS) software.
  • Conduct design reviews and status meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Perform market research on emerging trends, identify and test new software related to Digital Twins or BIM, and assess how they can be practically applied to meet client requirements.
  • Work independently and with internal teams to develop proposals, detailed work plans, project schedules, and deliverables.

These Will Help You Succeed

  • Working knowledge of industry-standard BIM and Digital Transformation platforms (e.g., AVEVA, Hexagon, Bentley, Autodesk) and the ability to configure, deploy, and support them in project environments.
  • Skilled at standardizing and reviewing structured and unstructured data so it can be effectively ingested by these platforms, with attention to usability and accuracy.
  • Experience in the implementation and integration of BIM and digital engineering software across both brownfield and greenfield projects.
  • Practical understanding of applicable information standards (e.g., CFIHOS, UK BIM Standards PAS 1192, ISO 19650 Series) and their exchange methods (IFC, DEXPI, COBie), with the ability to apply them directly in project workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support end users through mentoring, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
