A Brief Summary of this Position:

The Associate IT Security Analyst will research, identify and assist with implementation of Identify and Access Management (IAM) technologies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. This individual will administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system. This position will work closely with the IAM team to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources. As an Associate IT Security Analyst, you will provide first level support for security incidents reported by monitoring systems and through Help Desk ticketing systems.

Essential Functions:

  • This position reports to the Director, Information Systems and has no direct or indirect reports.

  • Flexible schedule of 3 days in office with coverage needs across global time zones.

  • Up to 10% travel (domestic) with overnight stays is required..

  • Investigate opportunities to update security system capabilities to sustain and enhance network and system security integrity.

  • Grant/Terminate user access to Network, IT, Information Systems, and Business Applications globally.

  • Collaborative with HR and/or Legal to make decisions on handling sensitive terminations.

  • Use, monitor, and maintain various systems such as Active Directory and Exchange.

  • Participate in post-mortem investigation of network security incidents and prepare security incident reports documenting the findings.

  • Investigate, research and analyze security access control issues with auditors, IT management, HR.

  • Administer the Litigation Hold process.

  • Ensure Active Directory user and business applications accounts and access are created, maintained and deleted by authorized personnel and stay within IT Security processes and GRC compliance.

  • Administer all contractor network access enterprise wide.

  • Respond to security incidents and report on incident handling and resolution.

  • Research, analyze, develop, design, approve, implement, control, monitor, and maintain security and compliance policies, company procedures, and security access control and compliance specific technologies to protect the integrity, availability, ethical administration and confidentiality of all security access control policies and electronic information/data owned, controlled, or managed by the Company whether it be from intentional or accidental misuse.

Individuals in this role must demonstrate commitment to and enthusiasm for problem solving. The ability to influence and communicate to stakeholders is a central aspect of the role. Applying a sense of curiosity and creativity is critical to continuous process improvement and strong communication skills are necessary for success. Frequent written and verbal contact with global company employees at all levels as well as outside client representatives, vendors, and other business-related representatives is a regular aspect of the execution of the role. This position provides other technical assistance and will be assigned other duties as needed; therefore a team player mentality is needed. A self-driven individual who is able to manage through changing priorities will be most effective in this position.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience or 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in Information Security/Identity Access Management.

  • Involved in troubleshooting and resolving IAM issues.

  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows System administration and associated scripting languages.

  • Ability to communicate in English – verbal and written.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with multiple IT Security solutions/tools, to include but not limited to:

  • User identity lifecycle management solution products or role-based access control solutions

  • Directory services products

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business Administration. CISSP, CISM, GCIA< GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, GSEC, OSCP, OSCE, Security+, IAT or IASAE Level II certification(s) Working knowledge of single sign-on, multifactor and federation solutions.

  • Working knowledge of End Point Security solution.

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment.
