About The Role
The Subscriber Operations Analyst plays a critical role in managing and optimizing subscriber allocations across community solar projects. This position ensures accurate, timely, and compliant submission of allocations to utilities, supports automation allocation processes, and leads quality assurance and reconciliation efforts. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities- Allocation Management
- Prepare, review, and submit subscriber allocations for all active community solar projects according to utility, regulatory, and grant requirements.
- Perform detailed pre-submission quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and compliance with allocation rules and project caps.
- Manage and track all allocation submissions to maintain a complete audit trail.
- Subscriber Management
- Manage the subscriber list to ensure compliance with FIFO requirements while balancing other operational constraints.
- Maximize allocation value by considering segment ratios across the various subscriber groups.
- Utility Coordination & Validation
- Research and resolve utility allocation inquiries and validation feedback.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies identified during validation.
- Update internal allocation datasets and tools based on validation results and utility correspondence.
- Post-Submission Review & Reconciliation
- Review finalized allocation results and validate against expected subscriber credits and project outputs.
- Perform monthly and reconciliations to confirm accuracy of allocations and provide feedback to Revenue Assurance team about financial impacts.
- Identify systemic issues or recurring errors and recommend improvements.
- Process Improvement & Automation
- Collaborate with data and software teams to enhance allocation algorithms and automation workflows.
- Participate in the design/testing/rollout of allocation automation/dashboards.
- Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for allocation processes.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Generate internal reports summarizing allocations and reconciliations.
- Continuously evaluate allocation efficiency and optimization opportunities.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting community solar programs, utilities, or data-driven operations roles.
- Strong data analysis experience, including working with large datasets, identifying trends, and performing reconciliations.
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced), Python, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and automated data workflows.
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and auditability best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and datasets simultaneously.

$60,000 - $85,000 a year
Salary will vary depending on your location and job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
