Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to drive Agile transformation and improve delivery effectiveness across teams, programs, and leadership layers. This role will coach leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to adopt Agile values, improve flow, strengthen planning and execution, and build a culture of continuous improvement. The Agile Coach will work across multiple teams and functions to enable measurable business outcomes, stronger collaboration, and sustainable delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Developers, QA, Product owners, functional leaders, product managers, and release managers to drive planning, execution and delivery
  • Support enterprise Agile transformation across teams, departments, and portfolios.
  • Guide teams in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and other Agile frameworks as appropriate.
  • Improve team effectiveness in planning, backlog management, estimation, prioritization, and delivery predictability.
  • Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, PI planning, Sprint planning, leadership sessions, spring demos and value stream discussions.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align Agile ways of working with business strategy and operational goals.
  • Identify organizational impediments and help drive systemic improvements.
  • Work with Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners to build internal coaching capability.
  • Establish and monitor delivery metrics such as velocity, cycle time, lead time, throughput, quality, predictability, and customer outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, accountability, and learning.
  • Help teams strengthen cross-functional collaboration, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support product and technology organizations in adopting customer-centric and outcome-driven delivery models.
  • Assess Agile maturity and design targeted coaching interventions to close gaps.
  • Drive adoption of effective Agile tooling and reporting practices where needed.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in Agile coaching, transformation, or delivery leadership roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience coaching multiple Agile teams and leaders in complex organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, or related approaches.
  • Experience working with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Architecture, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience leading change in matrixed or enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics, continuous improvement, and delivery health measures.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
