Job Description

This role is responsible for the administration and support of X-energy enterprise software applications that support business operations and associated service transactions. This position requires maintaining proper configuration and access controls as well as supporting business solutions in the assigned areas. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring new trends in technology that will impact the platform and lead strategic technology projects to further the continual improvement of provided services.


Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain applicable platform, which includes installing new software releases and system upgrades, evaluating, and installing patches, and conducting application/configuration migrations, refreshes, and restores.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure team to determine requirements for deploying database, web, and application servers in a multi-instance environment.
  • Specify and verify the system architecture and integration with other application systems.
  • Work with IT colleagues and/or the vendor to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and collaborates with the development team to implement solutions.
  • Monitor the system for high availability, load balancing, and satisfactory response time to ensure performance and reliability adhere to service level standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve performance issues.
  • Administer security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Develop instructions/documentation for user community and to support new process development.
  • Partner with the Senior Managers on projects that involve architecture and business transactions.
  • Research and keep abreast of trends in technology that impact enterprise content management.
  • Provide input on the improvement and future direction of the service.
  • Work with the vendor support to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with vendor support and development teams to implement maintenance patches and upgrades.
  • Participate in contract and licensing discussions to provide platform related information and suggestions to optimize the solution from a contract/license perspective.
  • Manage SAP Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Procurement, and Buying & Invoicing
  • Administer user access, roles, and permissions within Ariba based on business requirements and segregation of duties principles
  • Create and maintain custom reports and analytics using Ariba Reporting and Analytics
  • Manage integrations between Ariba and ERP systems (e.g., master data synchronization, purchase order transmission, invoice processing)
  • Monitor system performance and transaction volumes to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Execute the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, with minimal supervision.

Tasks/Responsibilities for SAP Concur Admin:

  • Administer SAP Concur modules including Expense, Travel, and Invoice
  • Configure to expense policies, travel policies, and approval workflows
  • Manage user profiles, groups, and delegate assignments
  • Create and maintain custom reports and analytics using Concur Intelligence/Analytics
  • Support integrations between Concur and ERP/accounting systems for financial data export
  • Administer mobile app configurations and troubleshoot mobile access issues
  • Manage user access

Position Level Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SAP Ariba and/or SAP Concur administration
  • Experience with SAP Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, or Buying & Invoicing)
  • Experience with SAP Concur modules (Expense, Travel, or Invoice)
  • Strong understanding of procurement, accounts payable, and travel & expense business processes
  • Proficiency in creating reports and analytics using platform-specific reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • SAP Ariba certification(s) (e.g., SAP Ariba Procurement, SAP Ariba Sourcing)

  • SAP Concur certification(s)

  • Experience with ERP systems integration (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

  • Knowledge of SQL and database queries for reporting and troubleshooting

  • Experience with change management and user adoption strategies

  • Understanding of compliance requirements (SOX, procurement regulations, travel policies)

Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD

Work Site Expectations: 4-5 days in office
Travel Expectations: 10% (as needed for project assignment)
Hours: Standard office hours are 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday -Friday

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:

$89,775- $149,625
