To join us as an Accounting/Tax Intern! The Accounting / Tax Intern will support the Accounting and Tax team with day‑to‑day financial and compliance activities. This internship provides practical, hands‑on exposure to general accounting operations and corporate tax processes, offering students real‑world experience supporting accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who are interested in building foundational accounting and tax experience in a professional environment.

This hybrid role requires a weekly in-person meeting in our Austin Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine accounting tasks such as data entry, account reconciliation, and financial documentation
  • Support preparation of journal entries and basic financial reports under supervision
  • Assist the tax team with data gathering, schedules, and documentation for tax filings and compliance activities
  • Help organize and maintain accounting and tax records to support audits and reporting needs
  • Support month‑end or quarter‑end close activities by preparing supporting schedules
  • Collaborate with accounting and tax team members to complete assigned projects and deadlines
  • Perform ad‑hoc research or analysis related to accounting or tax matters as needed

  • Active enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year pursuing a bachelor's degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2026, prefer degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (Early June through early August)
  • Based in the Austin, TX Area
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products

Compensation Range:

$20 - $23 / hour

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
