As part of the EU Finance team - with colleagues in Munich and Madrid - you will support day-to-day accounting and reporting activities for several European legal entities.
Your core responsibilities include:
Financial Accounting (SAP S/4HANA)
- Record standard accounting transactions in SAP S/4HANA (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking)
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual US GAAP financial reports
- Support timely and compliant statutory filings (local requirements where applicable)
Accounting Coordination
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for legal entities in Spain, Italy, and the UK
- Support account reconciliations, documentation, and audit preparation
Bookkeeping
- Support day-to-day bookkeeping activities for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
Digital Workflow & Systems Support
- Work with internal IT partners and external consultants to further develop digital workflow solutions
- Collaborate with local and global SAP teams to enhance SAP S/4HANA functionality and improve finance processes
Operational Finance Support
- Provide daily support to internal teams and participate in operational finance tasks
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Logistics to help optimize financial supply chain processes and data quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Related working experience (3+ years):
- Relevant accounting standards (USGAAP)
- Working in a multinational corporation
- SAP S/4 HANA, MS Office
