Job Description
CLEAResult is the chosen Installation Contractor for the jointly administered utility funded weatherization offering that will serve residential customers in 1-4 unit buildings in the Downstate New York service territories called Comfort Ready Metro NY, for Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. and National Grid. CLEAResult is looking for an Account Manager to ensure project acquisition targets are met by recruiting, onboarding, and training new Participating Contractors.
An Account manager will act as local contractor-facing program & company representative to trade allies, to encourage participation in the program and support successful contractor participation.
Account Managers help maximize the value of energy program activities by participating in community outreach and supporting successful contractor participation. Detailed data tracking conducted by the Account Manger also helps to identify the most effective marketing and program tactics and offers real-time insight into a wide variety of parameters that can be used to maximize program performance.

Recruit new Participating Contractors to participate by tactics such as attending community business leader events/meetings.
Onboard new Participating Contractors into the program, collecting necessary documentation and providing onboarding trainings.
Conduct regular and supplementary Participating Contractor trainings
Coordinate the provision of translation services for trainings of installers and other non-native-English-speaking Participating Contractor staff.
Manage quarterly Participating Contractor allocations and performance.
Coordinate and lead regular meetings with individual Participating Contractor to review their project pipeline and monitor the Partner’s progress toward goals for their program participation, including a minimum of quarterly on-site visits at larger Participating Contractor locations to gather feedback and assess installation capacity.
Provide feedback to Participating Contractors on their performance and encourage improvement when needed.
Address Participating Contractor underperformance and manage disciplinary action when necessary.
Draft correspondence to Participating Contractors regarding Participating Contractor program deadlines, announcements, and changes upon request.
Handle project-specific items such as responding to failed inspections, payment inquiries, etc.
Address Participating Contractor complaints and manage escalations.
Coordinate and organize semi-annual contractor in-person events and bi-monthly webinars.
Gather and document lessons learned and feedback from Participating Contractors and sharing this feedback with other IC staff and the Companies.
Develop and maintain contractor ratings.
Develop and maintain an accurate list of Participating Contractors that can be used to populate the Company’s “Find a Contractor” web functionality.
Manage annual / bi-annual recertifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation & no history of major driving infractions.
5-8 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of Weatherization, HVAC or Building Construction preferred.
BPI, OSHA & EPA Lead certifications preferred, yet not required; or the ability to obtain/pass skills test once hired, all training will be provided & certifications funded for the right candidate.
Ability to explain programmatic information in an easy-to-understand way
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Consistently friendly, positive, and respectful communications, even under pressure
Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships
Excellent organization, record-keeping, and time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred, or possess the ability to learn (Outlook, Excel, OneDrive)
Proficiency with mobile applications.
Ability to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks and drug screening.
DOT Requirements
If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Compensation Range
$69,700.00 - $89,200.00Currency

SalaryAny offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
