At Global Wind Service, we’re shaping the future of renewable energy. As a leading provider of wind turbine installation, service, and maintenance solutions, we’re expanding fast and pushing boundaries in offshore wind.

We’re now hiring a Technical Project Manager to strengthen our tender and early project phases and support global offshore projects from bid to technical execution as part of our Center of Excellence.

*The role will ideally be based at one of our EU offices in DK, NL, DE, PL, RO or UK.

About the Role

As Technical Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in the tender and pre‑execution phases, ensuring strong technical concepts, accurate assumptions, and scalable solutions that set projects up for success.

Working closely with Sales, Commercial, and Project teams, you will translate offshore experience into competitive and robust technical inputs – and later support the handover into execution to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Develop technical concepts, methods, and assumptions used in pricing and planning

  • Support risk assessments, execution strategies, and feasibility evaluations during tender phase

  • Ensure alignment between commercial proposals and execution capabilities

Execution & technical excellence

  • Support projects during execution to ensure technical integrity and consistency with tender assumptions

  • Develop and maintain standard tools, templates, methodologies, and work instructions

  • Act as a technical interface between clients, sales, projects, and site teams

  • Proactively resolve technical challenges across the project lifecycle

  • Ensure technical quality, HSE compliance, and risk mitigation

  • Drive continuous improvement across technical processes and ways of working

  • Travel up to 75–100 days per year to maintain strong connection to sites and projects
