What We Do

At Terabase Energy, we believe that digitalization and automation will drive the next wave of innovation and cost reduction in large scale solar.  To fully unlock the potential of this opportunity, Terabase is developing an interconnected software and construction automation platform.  We work alongside project developers, owners, and engineering & construction firms to support the design, optimization, and construction of huge solar projects around the world. Our team is a blend of solar-industry veterans and newbies, thought-leaders, dreamers, software, electrical and mechanical engineers, coders, product managers, project managers, and sales and marketing professionals. We are based in Northern California, with several other offices in the United States and around the world.  If all of this piques your interest, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role
We’re hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and process automation across Terabase’s global supply chain organization. This role will help us make smarter, faster, data-informed decisions by building dashboards, cleaning and modeling data, and applying AI tools to reduce manual work and improve visibility.

You’ll work closely with Sourcing, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and IT to provide critical insights into supplier performance, spend, inventory, logistics, and planning. Ideal candidates are Excel and Power BI experts with a strong grasp of supply chain data, and a proactive mindset around automation, accuracy, and clarity.

This is an execution-focused role, perfect for someone who thrives in the weeds, loves clean datasets, and wants to help scale high-impact systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Excel and Power BI for sourcing, supplier performance, logistics, and cost tracking
  • Create models and tools that support scenario planning, delivery tracking, and supply chain KPIs
  • Clean and structure raw data from multiple sources (ERP, shared drives, spreadsheets) to enable consistent reporting
  • Translate operational requirements into repeatable reporting frameworks and visualizations

Automation & AI-Driven Tools

  • Use GPT-based tools (e.g. OpenAI, Copilot) to automate routine reporting tasks, draft communications, and support data entry
  • Help implement low-code automations (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier) to streamline recurring workflows
  • Partner with IT and Systems teams to suggest enhancements and integrations that reduce friction in data access and sharing

Data Governance & Accuracy

  • Standardize and maintain master data sets for part numbers, vendors, lead times, and classifications
  • Validate data inputs and flag inconsistencies across systems and trackers
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and traceability for analytics workstreams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sourcing and Operations to understand reporting needs and respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Support Finance with spend tracking, variance reporting, and budgeting analysis
  • Help train users and stakeholders on dashboards and tools you build; document processes for scaling

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, business operations, or data analytics
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, charts)
  • Working experience with Power BI (building dashboards, DAX formulas, data models)
  • Exposure to AI tools (e.g. GPTs, Copilot, OpenAI, or similar) and interest in automation
  • Comfortable working with large, messy datasets across systems and formats
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field

Preferred

  • Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems (e.g. NetSuite, Coupa, SAP)
  • Basic experience with SQL or scripting for automation (not required)
  • Experience in solar, hardware, clean tech, or manufacturing environments
