Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Senior Director to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand A2G’s presence across U.S. and international defense markets. This role focuses on introducing A2G’s ISR capabilities to partners and customers, driving opportunity identification, qualification, and capture across DoD, Federal Agencies, and prime contractors.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with exceptional communication skills, deep experience in Manned and ISR services and operations, and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development: Identify and qualify ISR opportunities across GSA, DoD, and Federal Agencies (CONUS/OCONUS); build a pipeline to achieve $25M+ annual bookings.
Capture Management: Develop and execute strategies for IDIQs, MACCs, MATOCs, and full/open competitions as Prime or strategic Subcontractor.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with contracting officers, program managers, primes, and small business offices.
Market Intelligence: Monitor procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov) and industry trends to anticipate opportunities.
Proposal Leadership: Support or lead proposal efforts, including solution development, compliance reviews, and color team activities (pink/red/gold).
Pricing Strategy: Shape technical and pricing strategies using price-to-win and cost modeling.
Collaboration: Align pursuit strategies with delivery capabilities; manage teaming agreements, NDAs, and subcontract partnerships.
Industry Representation: Represent A2G at industry events and government briefings; maintain CRM and reporting for BD activities.
