At Terabase Energy, we believe digitalization and automation will help reduce the cost and improve the scalability of large-scale solar. Terabase is developing an interconnected software and construction automation platform to support the design, optimization, and construction of utility-scale solar projects worldwide.
Our team includes solar industry veterans and newcomers — software, electrical, and mechanical engineers; product and project managers; and sales and marketing professionals — working together from Northern California and other locations around the world.
Terabase is hiring a Project Manager to own end-to-end execution of a fast-moving solar construction equipment program. You will manage the integrated schedule, critical path, and milestone gates across multiple engineering tracks, supply chain, and external partners. This role separates program management from design leadership so engineering managers can focus on technical execution.

• Up to ~20% travel to project test sites and partner locations, depending on program activities.
• Own the integrated program schedule across all engineering tracks, supply chain, and external partners
• Drive the critical path to defined hardware milestones and downstream certification deliverables
• Run cadenced status reporting to program leadership — weekly internal stand-up and monthly executive review
• Operate the intellectual property disclosure pipeline: route disclosures from engineering through internal review to outside counsel; maintain the disclosure tracker
• Identify and mitigate program risks; escalate decisions that require executive action
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies — including third-party integration partners, supply chain qualification, and accredited test laboratory engagement
• Maintain a RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and a decision log
• Lead phase gate reviews and document attainment of gate criteria before each phase activates
• 5-7+ years technical program / project management experience in a hardware engineering environment
• Demonstrated track record running multi-track engineering programs to defined milestone gates
• Strong written and verbal executive communication; comfortable presenting to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• Fluency is modern project engineering/management platforms
• Prior experience in dynamic engineering projects, especially prioritizing new and one-of-a-kind developments
• Experience operating intellectual property disclosure workflows with internal/external counsel
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent credential
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or comparable program management tools
