The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a Production Control Specialist who is responsible for production planning, work order management, and cell material control to ensure efficient and continuous operation of solar cell production lines. This role coordinates across MES, ERP, and WMS systems to manage production execution, inventory flow, and on-time delivery performance.

What You'll Do

1. Production Planning & Control

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels

  • Ensure alignment between production plans and actual execution to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets

  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address operational changes or disruptions

2. Work Order & System Management (MES / ERP)

  • Utilize MES systems to release and manage work orders, monitor cell usage, and ensure timely material feeding to production lines

  • Perform MES transactions including batch splitting, barcode generation/reprinting, and related production activities

  • Create and release ERP work orders and DP IDs for production, downgrade, and rework processes

  • Extract and analyze ERP reports related to inventory, BOM, and production transactions

3. Cell Material Planning & Issuance

  • Manage cell issuance activities including line allocation and grade allocation based on production requirements

  • Coordinate pallet splitting and related system processing for accurate material traceability

  • Oversee online/offline barcode printing and ensure correct materials are issued to designated work orders and production lines

  • Train and support operators on standard cell request and issuance procedures

4. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination (WMS)

  • Monitor cell inventory levels through WMS systems

  • Submit daily material requests to warehouse teams to maintain uninterrupted production supply

  • Control WIP inventory levels and support inventory turnover optimization

5. Production Coordination & Issue Resolution

  • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans

  • Identify and resolve issues related to material shortages, equipment downtime, and schedule deviations

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), downgrade, and rework activities

6. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze KPIs including production plan adherence, OTD, WIP levels, and capacity utilization

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency

  • Continuously optimize planning and material control processes

Who You Are

  • Familiarity with MES, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred), and WMS platforms

  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities

  • Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication and cross-functional coordination abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • High attention to detail and process accuracy

  • Good English reading and writing skills preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, production control, or PMC functions

  • Experience in solar or semiconductor manufacturing environments preferred

  • Experience with solar cell technologies such as PERC, TOPCon, or HJT

  • Familiarity with APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) systems

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
