We are seeking a skilled and motivated Offshore Wind Engineer to join our team. The Offshore Wind Engineer will be responsible for supporting the technical development, design, and delivery of offshore wind projects, collaborating across disciplines to ensure optimal project performance from concept to construction.

What you get to do:

  • Provide technical expertise to support site selection, concept design, and feasibility assessments for offshore wind projects.

  • Participate in feasibility studies, concept selection, and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) activities.

  • Contribute to the engineering design of offshore wind farms, including turbine layout optimization, foundations, electrical systems, and balance of plant.

  • Support site assessments by interpreting geophysical, geotechnical, and metocean data to inform engineering decisions.

  • Support risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses for key engineering decisions.

  • Review and develop technical specifications and scopes of work for contractors, consultants, and suppliers.

  • Work closely with project managers, permitting specialists, and commercial teams to ensure engineering considerations are integrated into overall project development.

  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate engineering solutions for cost, reliability, and constructability.

  • Interface with equipment vendors, EPC contractors, and certification bodies.

  • Interface with external engineering consultants, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.

  • Support construction planning, installation methodology reviews, and commissioning activities.

  • Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Stay current with offshore wind technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assess turbine technology options and provide input on selection and procurement decisions.

  • Participate in design reviews, project development meetings, and due diligence for potential acquisitions.
