Job Title: Misc Technical Data Modeler / Net Zero Program Analyst Location: Midland, TX – Hwy 80 or Spring Campus (Houston, TX) Schedule: 5/2 – 40 hours per week Compensation: $120/hr
Scope The Technical Data Modeler / Net Zero Program Analyst will support the Permian Net Zero Team by managing large datasets, developing dashboards, and enabling cross-system data integration for emissions, facilities, and power-related initiatives. This role requires a strong technical background in data analysis, experience working with multiple data systems, and the ability to translate complex information into accessible insights for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. This position is office-based and interacts with multiple organizations including Permian leadership, the corporate emissions team, Global Projects, Data Analytics, and EMIT.Responsibilities
Work with large, complex datasets to support emissions reduction, power systems, and surface facilities initiatives.
Develop automated reporting tools and dashboards using PowerBI scripts, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar platforms.
Create visualizations and reporting frameworks that pull from multiple data sources.
Support integration efforts between systems (e.g., Siteview, ProCount, SAP), including assisting in implementation of APs to merge data streams (APIs built by IT).
Collaborate with the Permian Net Zero Manager, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to provide data, analytics, and insights for program work.
Interface with the Houston-based emissions calculations team, Global Projects, EMIT, and analytics groups.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across various operational and environmental reporting systems.
Support emissions estimation workflows and surface facilities technical reviews, where applicable.
Provide structured analysis to support Net Zero business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in data analytics or a related technical field.
Strong experience handling large datasets and building automated dashboards.
Proficiency in PowerBI scripting, Tableau, Spotfire, or equivalent analytical visualization tools.
Ability to connect, analyze, and manage data from multiple systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Preferred
Experience with Siteview, ProCount, and/or SAP.
Background in surface facilities, emissions estimation, or power systems.
Familiarity with Net Zero, decarbonization, or ESG-related analytics.
Prior experience supporting API integration efforts (functional knowledge; API building is not required).
