Position Overview:
As an Entry Level Welder at Range Ward, you will be introduced to the world of welding and metal fabrication. This role is perfect for individuals eager to start their career in welding, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the production of high-quality agricultural products. You will work closely with experienced welders and fabricators, learning the fundamentals and best practices in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute various welding processes under the guidance of skilled welders.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components together.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to welding projects.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in performing quality checks on welds and assembled components.
- Participate in regular training to develop welding skills and knowledge of equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of welding techniques and safety measures preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and understand technical documents.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
