A day in the life

We are seeking a Development Project Manager to join the Prologis Energy Storage & Energy Solutions team. This role is responsible for advancing a portfolio of utility-scale energy storage projects from early-stage development through Notice-to-Proceed. You will manage project execution across entitlements, interconnection, site control, and commercialization milestones to ensure timely project dispositions under Prologis’s develop and sell strategy.

In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage third-party consultants, and maintain clear accountability for schedule, budget, and risk across assigned projects. You will serve as the central driver of day-to-day development activities, ensuring high-priority assets progress efficiently through development Decision Gates and Investment Committee review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead day-to-day execution of assigned energy storage projects from early-stage diligence through LNTP.
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules, decision logs, and risk registers to maintain critical path visibility.
  • Drive entitlement pathways including zoning, CUPs, site plan approvals, and fire and life safety reviews with support from entitlement consultants and internal specialists.
  • Coordinate with Government Affairs and Communications teams to support stakeholder outreach and public engagement efforts.
  • Manage interconnection coordination activities, including consultant guidance, utility coordination, milestone tracking, and deposit compliance.
  • Identify economic feasibility risks early and align mitigation strategies with project monetization timelines.
  • Partner with Real Estate to secure and maintain site control, including leases, purchase options, and required easements.
  • Manage due diligence activities such as ALTA surveys, title review, drainage requirements, and environmental documentation.
  • Prepare internal Investment Committee materials summarizing project economics, risks, and readiness status.
  • Support project commercial sale efforts, including data room preparation and coordination of diligence responses.
  • Oversee third-party consultants including land use planners, engineers, environmental consultants, and interconnection advisors.
  • Track development budgets, manage NTE commitments, and surface cost variances with recommended corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project data in Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Salesforce, and SharePoint.

Required:

  • Milestone reliability across permitting and interconnection gates.
  • Timely progression of projects to LNTP and disposition readiness.
  • Schedule adherence relative to baseline development plans.
  • Effective identification and resolution of critical path risks.
  • Accuracy and discipline in budget tracking and project reporting

Hiring Salary Range of: $157,000 - $216,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
