Principal Program Manager

Sustainability
Department: Legal
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Snr. Director, Corporate Sustainability, this role will serve as program manager for global sustainability initiatives across the company’s operations and supply chain to ensure alignment with corporate goals, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management
· Establish
and manage the global project management framework for corporate sustainability
initiatives.
· Establish
standard project methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure consistent
planning and execution.
· Manage
program/project portfolios, supporting resource allocation, and tracking
performance to ensure timely delivery.
Strategic
Alignment
· Translate
corporate sustainability strategy into actionable project roadmaps with clear
timelines, owners, and KPIs.
· Evaluate
project proposals for alignment with regulatory requirements, climate
commitments, and business priorities.
· Quantify
and communicate outcomes of sustainability initiatives (e.g. cost savings, risk
mitigation, compliance, brand value).
Sustainability Management Systems
· Lead the
rollout of a Sustainability Management System across global operations.
· Define
and enforce standards and processes to embed Sustainability into core business
operations.
· Drive
consistency in metrics, data collection, and reporting across global sites to
facilitate reporting of sustainability data.
· Ensure
integration with existing management systems, including the Environmental,
Health & Safety management system, to ensure seamless data flow and
operational alignment
Cross-functional Collaboration
· Coordinate
execution with the finance, legal, facilities, operations, engineering, supply
chain, and EHS, to ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
· Engage
with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, auditors, and industry
groups, along with customer and suppliers to meet reporting and compliance
requirements.
· Facilitate
global collaboration, enabling knowledge sharing and consistent practices
across sites.
Data Management & Analysis
· Develop
and implement systems for tracking sustainability data across all sites.
· Analyze
sustainability performance metrics/KPIs, identify performance trends and
generate actionable insights to guide decision making.
· Develop
sustainability dashboards for leadership visibility and operational
transparency.
· Ensure
data accuracy and integrity to support reporting.
Sustainability Reporting & Compliance
· Coordinate
reporting across operations and geographies to meet regulatory and
sustainability reporting timelines.
· Facilitate
the preparation of sustainability reporting in line with international
regulatory requirements and frameworks (e.g., CSRD, SASB/ISSB, GRI, TCFD,
etc.).
· Maintain
audit readiness through robust documentation and traceability of reported data.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
· Monitor
emerging sustainability reporting trends, and regulatory changes across
relevant jurisdictions.
· Identify
and implement efficiency improvements in sustainability-related processes and
systems.
· Benchmark
performance against industry standards and integrate best practices.

SASB/ISSB, GRI, TCFD, etc.).

Experience & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s
degree or higher in Sustainability, Science, Engineering, Compliance, or
related areas.
· Experience
in sustainability-related field, with a minimum of 8 years.
· Demonstrated
track record of successfully implementing initiatives within an organization.
· Experience
working with diverse stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers,
and communities.
· Lean/Six
Sigma experience and knowledge desirable.
· Familiarity
with relevant sustainability certifications and accreditations.
· Knowledge
of relevant industry sector and sustainability challenges, also desirable.

The Salary Range for this position is $97,000 – $166,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
