Continuous Improvement Operator

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role

The CI Operator supports Continuous Improvement (CI) activities throughout the plant by assisting with execution of organizational, standardization, and workplace improvement initiatives. This role works under the direction of the CI Technician to support implementation of 5S, visual management, workplace organization, and plant improvement activities while helping maintain operational standards across assigned areas.

What You'll Do

· Support execution of CI initiatives and assigned improvement activities throughout the plant

· Assist with workplace organization, cleaning, and standardization efforts

· Perform assigned tasks related to 5S implementation and sustainment

· Support setup and maintenance of visual controls, labels, floor markings, and workplace identification systems

· Assist CI Technicians with area walkthroughs, audits, and corrective actions

· Help organize materials, tools, storage areas, and workstations to support plant standards

· Capture and organize before-and-after photos to support CI tracking and project documentation

· Assist with preparation of production areas for audits, customer visits, and internal reviews

· Report issues, delays, or material shortages impacting completion of assigned tasks

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas

· Support plant-wide standardization and sustainment activities

· Follow daily priorities and assignments provided by the CI Technician or CI Specialist

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Basic communication and teamwork skills

· Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

· Willingness to support cross-functional improvement activities

· Production floor setting

· Requires standing, walking, bending, and performing light physical tasks

· May involve lifting up to 25–30 lbs

· Seasonal role supporting operational and CI project needs throughout the plant.
