Continous Improvement Specialist

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. T1 Energy is seeking a proactive and analytical Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence across the organization. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze current workflows, systems, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Lead and support cross-functional Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and process mapping sessions.

• Develop and implement Lean initiatives, 5S programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Collaborate with department leaders to align improvement efforts with overall business goals.

• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes using KPIs and dashboards.

• Train and coach team members on continuous improvement tools and techniques.

• Support change management initiatives and promote a culture of operational excellence.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or manufacturing environments.

• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Visio, and data visualization tools.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc.).

• Background in logistics, supply chain, or production scaling.
